Our preschool

Montessori One has been serving the community of Westlake Village since 2003. We are very proud to be part of the village that helps our families raise children with kindness, empathy, awareness, understanding, and most importantly a love for learning.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on Montessori Method and philosophy, learning through five senses from areas of practical life,sensorial material, language arts, math, science, social/cultural studies and art. It also introduces music and Spanish as a foreign language.

We have 3 different programs available: Half Day, Full day, and Extended day with options for number of days.

This preschool has been so incredible! We've been to 3 preschools before this with our other kid, and it's by far the best as it's a great mix of education via the Montessori method, play, and child care for working parents. Our time at Montessori One was wonderful from start to finish. The staff at M1 are incredibly warm and dedicated. They are well-trained professionals who truly understand the needs of young children. They showed patience, kindness, and attention to each individual child. The most wonderful teachers a parent could ever want. Strict but loving, warm and gentle, and always allowing children to explore and discover at their own pace. My child has learned so much being in their classes!

Our daughter has been going to this school since she was 2.5 years old. We love how passionate and nurturing all of the educators are. She has flourished so much in this kind and caring environment.
