We are a genuine Montessori preschool and TK/K program in Westlake Village, California. Our mission is balanced social, emotional, and intellectual growth for every child we serve, ages 2 to 6.

The Montessori method meets each child where they are. In a calm, prepared environment, children develop concentration, independence, and a genuine love of learning. We tend to the social and emotional life of the child as carefully as we tend to the intellectual, so children leave us confident, kind, and curious.

Our director, Amal Pelawatta, brings 22 years of childcare experience to Montessori One. She is Community Care licensed and Montessori certified, and leads our team with a deep commitment to authentic Montessori practice.

Our approximately 4,200 square foot facility is designed for safety, independence, and calm. Walk-up drop-off brings you right to the main gate and office.
